What is the Letting Go technique?
Based on the work of Dr David Hawkins, the Letting Go technique is an innate mechanism of the mind which facilitates the letting go of repressed emotions and negative belief systems.
Practicing letting go facilitates growth across all dimenstions of spiritual, emotional and physical health.
Most of us are used to pushing feelings down (suppression/ repression), acting them out (expression), escaping them (drugs and alcohol, workaholism, entertainment), or trying to think our way out of them (rationalisation).
Letting go offers an alternative way. To let go of resistance to experiencing feelings and emotions.
With willingness and acceptance, the feeling begins to diminish. Not because you let it go, but because You stopped resisting.
This is not about getting rid of feelings. It’s about learning how to be with them without becoming them.
As you practice, something powerful happens: you begin to understand experientially, that You are not your thoughts or emotions.
You are that aspect of consciousness which is witnessing them.
This awareness grows over time, as letting go becomes second nature.
This is the essence of the technique.
Simple. Effective. And available to you now.
Is letting go for you?
Letting go is for you if…
You’ve hit an emotional rock bottom or crisis.
You feel stuck, blocked, or on the sidelines of your own life.
You’re dealing with stubborn patterns you can’t shift.
You’ve tried therapy and other healing modalities, but still feel at the mercy of your emotions.
You’re spiritually committed and want freedom.
Letting go may not be the right fit if…
You’re more focused on understanding your emotions than letting them go.
You want to analyse or talk about your feelings rather than let them go.
You’re not ready to practice daily or commit to a consistent process.
You want approval, control, or safety more than peace.
